Reviews of Notion Website Builder
Turn your existing content into a beautiful website without switching platforms!
Comments: Notion Website Builder has been a very useful tool to help us grow and scale by using the already existing tools and data we have in place... minimizing time lost through duplicate work and education that would be needed to utilize additional tools and platforms.
Pros:
If you already use Notion to capture and organize your comtent and information there is no need to port that data into another platform or framework to turn it into a usable, and visually appealing, website.
Cons:
Due to the limitations of using Notion as the back-end of your site, your options for extensibility and customization are limited.
Powerful tool for creating websites directly from Notion pages
Pros:
It stands out for its ease of use, allowing me to convert their Notion content into fully functional websites without any coding knowledge. Immediately reflected online offering a seamless content management experience. It's particularly beneficial for individuals or businesses looking to establish an online presence quickly and efficiently, leveraging Notion's organizational capabilities. This builder is ideal for those who already use Notion for documentation or project management and wish to extend their use case to web development.
Cons:
Limited customisation options compared to traditional web development platforms Reliance on Notion's uptime and performance Advanced SEO features and integrations with third-party services may be more challenging to implement Learning curve for new users.
Great idea but buggy and support is really weak
Pros:
I needed the ability to password protect my Notion pages - which isn't a built in capability. Simple Ink gives that functionality and it works - but it does almost nothing else for me.
Cons:
Their support is absolutely terrible. You submit 3-4 tickets before anyone replies at all and then it's just a basic "we're working on it" - no ETA, no follow up, nothing.
Fast and Easy Website Builder
Comments: Overall, it has been a great experience with notion website builder. Whenever I want to share same thing with a lot of people, I just jump directly to notion and create a one page site in minutes and share them. It has made my life a lot easier. Thanks Notion, and I highly recommend Notion Website Builder to others like me.
Pros:
The best thing about Notion Website Builder is its ease. I can easily create a website without any coding knowledge in a matter of minutes. I really like that it allows us to turn notion pages to websites. The best thing is I can dynamically set something to be displayed from other notion pages.
Cons:
There aren't many things that we can do with Notion Builder when compared to other solutions like WordPress but I think that's what makes it a good product ; especially for notion users. It doesn't have many functionalities but still a very useful product.
Great tool, does what it needs to do
Comments: Overall great. Very good customer support.
Pros:
Unlimited sites is an instant win when comparing to other products. If you have existing content and want to get one or more sites up in a hurry, it's very simple to do.
Cons:
Lack of delete site function for sites left over from testing on pain accounts. Although contacted support to delete them for me, so not really a problem and something they are going to add I believe.

Creating a landing page or website is as simple as crafting a Notion page. The Notion website builder empowers you to seamlessly turn your ideas into a digital presence with remarkable ease.
Cons:
I've encountered some challenges with my Notion page, especially when it involves databases or data from other Notion pages that aren't set to public. I'm confident there's a straightforward solution, but it's been somewhat tricky for me to figure out.
Simple and Robust cunstom wesbite builder from Notion.
Comments: Overall experience is very good. It a simple and very useful tool to publish your website from the Notion with even a custom domain. The search option in the website works perfectly. All these packages make it a very precise and useful Notion website builder.
Pros:
1. The simple and clean user interface 2. Seamless connection with Notion 3. We can add our own custom domain 4. There are so many prebuilt templetes in each category. 5. We can also create forms from Notion. 6. We can set the language of the website aslo.
Cons:
1. I do not like the pricing. Pricing should be less. 2. The free version only get access to one page of notion. Sub papages are in pro which is pathetic. 3. It should have more site customization options.
Aesthetic and fast website builder!
Pros:
I really liked the ease of use in setting up my website based on my Notion data. I also loved how real-time editing helped me set up my website in no time. The custom domain feature is a cherry on the top and the pricing is also really affordable. Overall great tool for content creators and others wishing to build their online presence as well as indie hackers looking to build simple projects as a solopreneur!
Cons:
I wish they had local payment methods integrated so i could pay via UPI! I usually purchase all my subscriptions by subscribing to them on Google Play or via UPI so that was bit of a hassle!
Simplified Website Building

Pros:
Seamless integration with Notion, I created a website without coding. SEO-optimized, responsive websites with automatic sync to Notion which I felt is awesome. Furthermore, the platform is secure, with SSL certificates generated automatically for websites.

Simple.ink is a superb way to get a clean and accessible website
Comments: Really positive, able to put together a clean and accessible website for personal use and host it on a great URL. Plenty of customisation options too.
Pros:
This was a very clean experience, able to make my portfolio in Notion and to host it on a very clean platform. It looks similar to Notion in general but the hosting process is super smooth, and allows for clean URLs to share too.
Cons:
Nothing much to say - the free trial gives you what you need to work with. Some features are paywalled but this is fair, and I haven't had any issues since.
Most Enjoyable publisher for Notion sites!!

I have nothing but good things to say! I appreciate the consistent company and feature development.

Lots of templates makes it easy to edit and build your website
Cons:
Not so flexible. And visually, it’s not pleasing
Alternatives Considered:
Good for Notion Lovers
Comments: A lot of things are well taken care by Notion Website Builder. The main issue is that we do not use Notion that often. I think Notion Website Builder would be a great investment if we started using Notion more often. A lot can be done by using the custom code feature.
Pros:
The templates and custom domains are easy to use. It's easy add a footer and to customize it with an image. I liked the quick way to add menus. It is simple to add the menu and change the color and styling. The pretty URL is a cool feature to make your website polished. Dark mode works quite well. The speed is excellent.
Cons:
Some of the templates are expensive. You have to use a public page from Notion. The UI could be more colorful, but it works pretty good nonetheless. Some of the features require an upgrade.
Notion Portfolio Website Review
Comments: I liked to various techniques I can use or attach to Notion. Didnt know I could create a website on Notion.
Pros:
Comfortable and ease of use is great. The website design was simple and I also got help from the free resources available.
Cons:
The layout looks like a notebook so creating a website doesn't match with the notebook background or layout.
Notion a webpage substitute
Comments: My overall experience has been good, I'd use notion anytime and reference is assured
Pros:
It's easy to use , user friendly, easy to navigate and edit . Supports team usage and remote control
Cons:
No control over positioning on tools , it take time to master positioning and alignment
Excellent way to turn a Notion page into a website
Comments: Great, would recommend it to others and will continue using it
Pros:
It's easy and intuitive to use, it's simple and helps me do exactly what I want it to do. It's inexpensive.
Cons:
There are certain elements like customizing the header or having subsections in the header that I miss. It's not a huge deal though.
Makes sharing projects so much easier
Pros:
I love that this site allows you to transform your notion page into a shareable website that can be added to links and other pages. I like how it shortens the domain and makes it look more official
Cons:
When using a table on the notion page and creating it as a link - it immediately looks like you can’t access any of the data on the table because it makes each option its own link that’s not active … the physical link (not the page) works but it’s confusing. I haven’t found a way around this and with me and some colleagues using this to share free resources and databases it just doesn’t give the look of accessibility to our users

The user experience and the header and filter option that you remove in comparison of actual notion templates is standout point. It makes user experience very clean and sleek.

Simple Ink Use Case for an IT company for Small Businesses
Pros:
Simple Ink at the time of our usage was a really competitive alternative to Notion website builders in the past and I think it still is. It was really responsive and fast when deployed for a Notion builder.
Cons:
I think the major con that we experienced at the time was some lack of certain features compared to the competition but those were not as important.
Great No-Code Website Solution
Pros:
I needed to design a website for my church that they could update and maintain without any technical expertise. We had a few requirements, and Simple.Ink met them all with a relatively low cost!
Cons:
It feels in some ways like an early-stage product. I can't be sure that the product will be around long-term to host our website. The good thing is all our data is stored in Notion, so we aren't risking data loss.
Good product for a Marketer
Pros:
It's easy to maintain and use. Is hassle free and I love creating projects with the help of Notion Website Builder.
Cons:
Sometimes changes don't reflect soon and take time.
