About BrowserStack
BrowserStack is the leading test platform built for developers & QAs to expand test coverage, scale & optimize testing.
Wide Range of Devices available for every category like Android, IOS & Windows Platform. Has a number of integrations.
I don't like that it can get quite a bit costly very quickly. Also if you want to be able to test faster, it's going to get expensive fast.

Best Product Design and Testing Platform!
Comments: My overall experience with BrowserStack is great, I still remember when I first integrated with Browser stack, and saw the standalone remote test run 5 years back! It was so cool!
Pros:
Its a great tool for web and mobile based applications, where I need to test various devices. Comes in handy with all the configurations, well documented about the usage. For a beginner to expert, its a very good tool!
Cons:
Sometimes I noticed minor bugs, like the same build from CI runs twice. So they can be better tested before releases.
Alternatives Considered:
Browser Stack - The all-in-one testing solution
Comments: It is good so far. Will be exploring Live, Automate, Test Management and other side of it.
Pros:
App Live and App Automate. Will be exploring Live and Automate for WEB.
Cons:
No such con to mention as such. I would like the team to work on APP Performance Testing which can share App metrics(Device metrics like memory, cpu, battery etc) along with ui rendering time and api response times.
QA Automator Review
Comments: Great experience so far, makes things so much easier.
Pros:
Easy access to multiple configurations of devices, OS, and browsers. No need to setup on the client side.
Cons:
Dashboard to review automated tests could use improvement. I just dont like the way it looks.
Overall feedback
Comments: Overall, my experience has been good. Sometimes there are some annoying bugs, but I'm glad you guys are introducing new features. The custom data range filtering will be a game changer for my team.
Pros:
Some features are nice, such as being able to add subfolders, importing test cases from CSV files, and filtering by custom date range (FINALLY), dragging and dropping test cases (this is extremely helpful; we would like to see the same functionality applied in test cases inside of a test run.
Cons:
REPORTS. 1. It would be nice if we could filter reports by tags 2. It would be nice to create a report from all the projects instead of only individual ones Test runs: 1. It would be nice if we could also drag and drop the test cases inside a test run 2. It would also be a game changer if we could filter test runs by tags. My team and I would love to use tags a bit more, but at the moment, we feel its usage is pretty limited.
Robust cross-browser testing software
Comments: My experience with BrowserStack has been quite positive overall. It stands out for its robust cross-browser testing capabilities and the convenience of accessing real devices remotely. The platform’s interface is generally user-friendly, and it supports a wide range of browsers and operating systems, which is great for ensuring compatibility across different environments.
Pros:
BrowserStack is a really handy tool for testing websites and apps across different devices and browsers. What I like most about it is its ability to provide real-time testing on actual devices rather than emulators. This can give you a much more accurate picture of how your site or app will perform in the wild. Plus, the ease of access to a wide range of devices and configurations can really streamline the development process and help catch issues early. Have you used BrowserStack yourself, or are you considering it for a project
Cons:
One area where BrowserStack might have room for improvement is in the performance of its live testing feature. Sometimes, users report that the interaction can feel a bit laggy or slow, especially when dealing with high-traffic sites or complex application

BrowserStack, your guaranteed path to ROI
Comments: Using BrowserStack has been a game changer for the many teams that I've led in different organizations who chose to subscribe, it provides guaranteed ROI and great bang for the buck, in addition to all the amazing technical features that allowed all my teams to use it effectively and efficiently. And of course to me personally as an open-source contributor, being able to test my open source project against any device or OS I can think of has been a great help to identifying and fixing issues as fast as possible. Especially after integrating BrowserStack in my GitHub Actions pipelines.
Pros:
The variety of devices, ease of use, API integration, and the openness of the support team to share any needed information.
Cons:
Honestly, there's nothing I don't like about BrowserStack.

Great for quick access to multiple platforms for the team
Comments: It's great to be able to quickly get up an running with testing our code on whichever platform we need.
Pros:
It's very easy to invite team members to the account to allow us to keep the flow of development and testing going in various browsers in both macOS and Windows.
Cons:
We have 5 licenses, however 1 is always reserved for the account holder and 1 is always reserved for the admin. These 2 people rarely use this, so we really only have 3 usable licenses to share.
Best UI testing tool
Comments: My overall experience is good, and I recommend industry to use this product.
Pros:
It is a perfect application for web application testing. It has so many options. It is a one place solution.
Cons:
Mobile application testing is little challenging as sometimes it is working perfectly on BrowserStack but not on real device. Also 2nd con what I observed is the pricing which is bit higher side.

Former Client
Comments: Service was good. Responsiveness was good, but our time to keep the system running was very high.
Pros:
It is a very mature system with a lot of powerful features.
Cons:
Due to the age of the architecture, there are performance issues. And the approach requiring multiple IP addresses which needed to be white listed, and constantly changed were a major nuisance.
Affordable app with a wide range of tools.
Comments: Browserstack is easy to use, comfortable to start and has the functionality I need in my work.
Pros:
Browserstack is affordable for a single user – that's the main reason I chose it. As the only user in the team, I was looking for a tool that allows me to keep my documentation organised and offers an affordable plan.
Cons:
I'm a new user – haven't found any cons yet.

Comprehensive and Efficient Cross-Platform Testing Solution
Comments: My overall experience with BrowserStack has been great. It makes testing across different browsers and devices easier, way better than spending time and resources on emulators. It runs fast, and the debugging tools are really helpful. I can say it's a reliable tool to make sure your app or website will work smoothly wherever you use it.
Pros:
The possibility to automatize tests in mobile apps both in Android and iOS.
Cons:
At the beginning, the variety of the menu confused me. So it delayed the process from the start.
Best platform for mobile and web application testing.

Cons:
Proxy and debug tools are unstable, need to restart quite often.

Pros:
- Several different devices available - For the same device, different OS versions available - Easy to switch between browsers/devices - Live app testing - Crossbrowser testing - Devices comparison side by side - Location settings - Integration with different tools suck as Jira, Azure, etc which helps reporting - Automation features

Great tool for any QA job
Comments: Overall, BrowserStack has been a great tool for QA at my current job and I have used it consistently over the last 5+ years. I can't imagine going back to not using it, now that it has become such an integral part of my day-to-day work.
Pros:
I like how it is all web-based and quickly connects to additional devices/browsers in order to test applications and web pages. It's very nice being able to officially support devices and browsers that you normally wouldn't have easy access to obtain or test against.
Cons:
Some of the paid products have steep pricing models. There are also times where devices will just get stuck on a loading screen and don't officially boot-up which can get a little annoying when you are just wanting to quickly test something.
A must-have tool for web-based companies / jobs.
Comments: The overall experience with BrowserStack is great. It's a really helpful tool to investigate when users submit bug reports that we couldn't detect on our testing / development environment. We're also starting to add Percy to our pipeline in order to test for visual regressions.
Pros:
Huge selection of devices and browser/operating system combination makes it essential to properly investigate on bugs that you couldn't test or find out on your development environment.
Cons:
Sometimes the initial connection to the devices navigation is a bit slow or needs a refresh but given the nature of the service it's acceptable.
Very ease n can be used for multiple purposes

What I like the most is it gives us real-time and multiple device options also live testing on an ios emulator, and can easily check by changing the location and rotating the devices, Accessibility testing, Also automation testing so helpful
Cons:
Location is very less also on Mac OS animation doesn't work properly n very slow.
User Experience
Comments:
The experience with BS is not bad. But needs some improvements.
1. The device tier concept should be removed or the latest versions should have more devices.
2. There should be a UI to view/download the builds from BS
3. The execution view should be more clean and rich. It is simple, All options are on the right and a video gets played on the left showing all locator's views on the left.
Pros:
Execution on a real device. The pass % will be close to what experience the user will get.
Cons:
Device tier concept while execution makes it a parallel session running a variable number of devices.
Ease of use - BrowserStack
Comments: It's good but sometimes some of the devices are not available but very helpful.
Pros:
Usability is very good and user-friendly.
Cons:
Sometimes devices lag and become very slow.
Powerful Tool for Accessibility Testing
Comments: It has extensively helped in accessibility testing where in it helps to setup the automated tests and using the reports the related accesibility issues could be addressed depending on the priority of bugs listed as serious, critical and minor.
Pros:
Responsive testing for UI interfaces and accessibility testing.
Cons:
Delay in loading the different devices/browsers while live testing on real devices.
