Great value for money
Comments: It's a great product, and their support is great.
Pros:
It's easy to use, it has most of the functionality you need in order to capture leads and target them with campaigns. The tagging system is easy to use. You can easily create custom fields, and group them. Automation work great.
Cons:
The UI needs some fine-tuning. It takes some time to get used to it, but once you do, it's easy to find anything you need and use it.

Comments: The experience since the start has been incredible in every possible way. ActiveCampaign has been a very rewarding marketing tool that has helped us run very successful marketing campaigns to promote our business. It has helped us to attract and capture new customers by giving us an efficient platform to communicate with leads during campaigns.
Pros:
After the first implemention, our transition to ActiveCampaign was made smooth by the short learning curve. There are very impressive task automations in ActiveCampaign that allows us to automate the routine marketing tasks like email follow ups. We are pleased by the quality of the support services we get from ActiveCampaign support team. ActiveCampaign metrics reports provide very useful insights about our campaigns that help us to evaluate their performances and make necessary changes to make the campaigns even more productive.
Cons:
Everything about ActiveCampaign has been in check. There is nothing unpleasant about any of its features.

Terrible Product - Wastes Time with Constant Re-doing of Work
Comments: If I could tear this system out and start with a new marketing automation, I would do it yesterday. Every time anyone on our team uses it, it never works properly and we lose information all the time (Customer Service was of no help in this area). Additionally, we can't even use for data analysis because the information is not accurate. We will see clicks in the thousands for content in our emails (very unusual) - but Customer Service told us that some customers servers may do a "security check" when emails arrive in their system to check for malware. Fair enough - but as a result, we are not getting any kind of data to make future decisions. Buy ANY other software, avoid this at all costs.
Pros:
Absolutely nothing and I'm stuck using it because it was purchased before I started.
Cons:
Everything takes TEN TIMES LONGER TO COMPLETE ANYTHING with Active Campaign than any other marketing automation/email system I have ever used in my 20 year career. Non-intuitive, difficulty formatting, you are constantly searching for how to do things, and my favorite - just doesn't save what you are working on, meaning you have to re-do things ALL THE TIME. This is a constant battle.

With ActiveCampaign, our campaigns has gotten an impressively positive reception from our target audience. Active Campaign outperforms the competition
Comments: The user-friendliness is sometimes a little tricky. You have to spend a lot of time with ACC to find out the functions and use them correctly. The support is very good. The variety with CRM is great. Creating emails with templates is really very good. Basically, I think the ACC software is really brilliant. A webinar function like Funnelcockpit would be desirable or expandable.

Working online on ACC is sometimes difficult because the site is not accessible. It is constantly loading...

Comments: Once you get the hang of it, it's a lifesaver for digital campaigns! Seriously, this platform has everything you need to plan, launch, and track your marketing efforts.
Pros:
What I love most is how you can personalize emails, segment your audience, and automate pretty much anything. It's super powerful for nurturing leads and turning them into customers. The automation workflows are a game-changer, and the reporting tools are awesome for tracking your results.
Cons:
Honestly, it's hard to find any real downsides. Maybe the interface takes a bit of getting used to, but once you do, it's incredibly powerful.
Effective and very complete product
Comments: I use the machines a lot as well as the one-off sending part. It is a very easy product to interface with Wordpress.

It is a very complete product that allows you to really target your customers. The machines are truly perfect.

The price is a little excessive because it is based on the number of subscribers and not on the number of emails sent.

Activecampaign is a great way to store a central contact list and send out marketing emails - that's what I use it for -The segments and tag functions make it easy to split up a list of contacts into different categories and send out more personalised emails -Activecampaign seem to keep releasing new promising features, which is great to see -The tracking of clicks, click-throughs, privacy clicks etc.. works very well and is useful to track data of emails sent
Cons:
1. I wish that you could A/B test (or split test, as they call it) an email for time sent, but when I change one of the emails schedule it automatically changes the other so I cannot A/B test for time sent 2.Some parts of the software can be hard to use, but this isn't a huge con as once you spend some time getting to grips with it it's OK

Pros:
I love that Active Campaign has almost endless possibilities. My whole business is built on e-mail marketing and AC takes the work out of my strategy.
Cons:
It looks pretty dated and it's laggy at times. Also, sometimes a scheduled campaign doesn't work or gets stuck and you don't get an error or message about it.

Passing on This CRM Platform Might Be a Wiser Choice
Comments: Unfortunately, our experience with this platform was more than disappointing. Communication, charging methods, and pricing did not fit with with our company’s important needs
Pros:
Not much at all. The ability to COLLECT & STORE our contacts was the only benefit to our company
Cons:
Inability to contact ActiveCampaign via phone except for Sales purposes. Company had only ONE phone number, and one had to DIG to find it (Sales phone number.) Also, automatic charges by ActiveCampaign when we were not wanting to renew were not appreciated.
Active Campaign is on the decline
Comments: Getting worse. It used to be easy and intuitive to use. Now there are errors, bugs and feature reductions almost every week that are surprising and frankly alarming.
Pros:
It WAS easy to use. No longer the case.
Cons:
Getting harder to use. Complicated. MOST CRITICAL: They are getting rid of features which are critical and sensible to maintain e.g. image resize, e.g. details on recent activities. The changes have eroded and downgraded the usability and attractiveness of their original program.

WARNING: this review is more of a heads-up for Active Campaign, in case they ever read it :) The product is great, with very high performance and an easy set up if you are not a newbie in the marketing automation space. However:
- the prices have gone up consistently without a serious improvement in features
-despite their position in the market, their integration with woocommerce requires manual coding when it comes to syncing anything different than standard order statuses. In our case, it often happens with Woocomerce subscriptions. This does not mean that you cannot achieve a perfect sync of your ecommerce data, only that the time and testing required would substantially increase the price for our end clients (agency here). This is why whenever there is any custom woocommerce integration to deal with we tend not to advice for Active Campaign.
Pros:
The automation management system is really one of the best on the market. As mentioned, you might have to struggle for deep, manual integration if you have specific ecommerce needs (i.e. subscription products whose membership status needs to trigger actions in the automations) but a part from that their approach is still the best on the market for that, you even have an automation map to keep track of how automations connect to each other.
Cons:
Right now definitely a) the cost: there is a lot of fresher solutions that come for a fraction of AC's licence cost and perform as much as good, if you are willing to close an eye on usability and some specific features. b) data export: AC tries to discourage your migration to other platforms. I.e.: if you want to export all your contacts with the information of the lists they are in, you will have to export each list separately. Also, you can't export ecommerce data together with the contacts, you will need to resync your new platform with your ecommere

Comments: It has been a super good experience using ActiveCampaign and the results has been a great improvement on the number of successful leads we get after running our marketing campaigns.

ActiveCampaign enables me to create, customize and send high volume outbound marketing emails. It has a robust backend integration capability compared to alternatives.

ActiveCampaign suits all my needs and I do not find any hectic feature to use.

Comments: I am using AC to send automated sequences to my leads, but I am not using the campaign features, and I am considering swtiching to another tool if I can't delete my inactive leads (else the costs will constantly increase)

I am not using AC for the campaign features, yet it forces me to constantly upgrade my plans when I reach the cap (while preventing me from deleting inactive users)

I like the flexibility that comes with the tool allowing us to scale operations of email and automation of marketing.

Comments: It’s super powerful if used by someone with a few years experience of building out complex email workflows and automations, but it was simply too powerful for what we needed, which was to simply send a basic drip-feed campaign to engaged prospects and send out a weekly newsletter to customers.
Pros:
The email builder is incredibly easy to use and offers lots of decent templates. It’s possible to create complex campaigns with lots of automated paths, workflows and split-tests for large data sets. The analytics and alerts are great too.
Cons:
It’s a little overkill for small businesses or marketing teams that just require a basic automated email tool.
