Momentum is easy to use for the whole team

Comments: I’ve been working with Momentum Eagle-1 devices for almost 2 years. They are quick to install and have great connectivity. We rolled Momentum out to our whole fleet, including trucks and trailers. For our local offices, we set each one up with a monitor that’s set to show Momentum’s live map of their tracked assets. All of this was done without additional cost or complex development. Once the devices were plugged in, viewing and tracking them online was very fast. The team is friendly and has supported all our users, from the boardroom to the field teams. Billing has been clear and simple, as easy as using the device and applications themselves.

Pros:

Easy to set up. Responsive vendor with good, clear support. New features keep coming regularly.

Cons:

There were a couple issues with notifications, but once we learned more about setting up monitors and assigning users, this got much better.

Comments: Fantastic from day one - no issues, no problems, all are very happy!

Pros:

We have used other products, and none even come close to Momentum IoT. Super fast installation with minimal experience, updating the website is fast & easy - the connection is always clear & strong - even in the mountains! The repair & maintenance alerts, the speed alerts & more all make for an affordable, intelligent solution to vehicle information& tracking!

Cons:

When I find something, I will let you know.

Review of Momentum GPS

Comments: it has been fine for us since we started using this instead of a different provider.

Pros:

Relatively easy to use. Very inexpensive

Cons:

It isn't real time (there is a delay between pings) and we have gaps in converge sometimes

Great product for small to medium sized businesses

Comments: We have just three delivery trucks and use the tracker and the cameras. It's been a valuable tool to track drivers for our customers, to ensure they are driving in a safe manner. They know that if we see a RED line on the trips, it's a sit down with the boss! I feel it's a good value and a useful tool and in the event of an accident it should provide valuable data that hopefully will benefit us.

Pros:

Low cost of entry, ease of installation, great for small businesses.

Cons:

The website is not overly intuitive however once you get poking around it's easy to pick up and find what you need.

Pleasantly Surprised!

Comments: I was pleasantly surprised with Momentum. We are a small family-owned business and when we begin talking about the benefits of a tracking device, I didn't think it would be possible at our size. I had found Momentum after doing some research online and thought it was too good to be true. I'm happy to report that it has lived up to all that it says it does. It's been very helpful in more ways than one and we are very happy with the new dash cams.

Pros:

It's user friendly and the customer service has been great.

Cons:

The only thing I can think of is that you can't view the dash cam on the app yet. I'm sure that will be available soon.

Great Company

Comments: I believe I have been with them since the beginning and haven't had many issues. Will definitely be continuing and have referred them many times.

Pros:

Ease of doing business with them. Any issues I have I simply send an email and typically get a response back same day.

Cons:

I have been with them from many years and honestly can't think of any.

Comments: 10/10 100% would recommend. We are very happy with momentum.

Pros:

We like how user friendly their app and onboarding is. From gps tracking to dash cameras they’re all very easy to install and navigate once up and running.

Cons:

Overall everything is great, we do wish the app was more active in the sense of when vehicles are idling and if they make separate stops along the way to one place. Most quick visits to locations don’t actually track to the app.

Simple & Efficient

Comments: Our company has been using Momentum for almost 4 years now, and I've never had to call once about a unit tripping or not working.

Pros:

I like that I never have an issue with disconnection. These tracking units work in all kinds of weather.

Cons:

What I like least is looking up past trips. It's not that it isn't user friendly, but I have used similar software that is much simpler.

The best fleet service

Comments: I love it, wish service titan was half as good.

Pros:

I like how accurate it is, keeps us aware where the fleet is and has been. History lets you go back and see what time arrival was or when they drive off.

Cons:

that they did not have cameras when we got them

HELPFUL PRODUCT

Pros:

The ability to see where the crews are at throughout the day

Cons:

Tends to lose connection and sometimes does not accurately show where the crews are

good GPS for LESS

Comments: I use this system on a personal level. I have them installed in my personal vehicles. Mine, wife and both kids. There is a high car thief rate where I live. It's nice to know if someone where to steal my vehicle that I can track them down.

Pros:

The easy installation and the fact that I can check to see how fast my son is driving.

Cons:

There are times that it doesn't register. It didn't log movement until 30-60 mins after the vehicle was moving.

Great feature packed value for any company with vehicles.

Comments: Overall using Momentum loT has been a great experience. It is very reliable and works as it should.

Pros:

The information and real time data are great. Being able to customize notifications is a great feature. The maps are detailed. Overall a great value.

Cons:

Sometimes the trip details are a little confusing to read and take a minute to figure out.

Momentum works for team member efficiency

Comments: We are able to be more efficient using momentum just by utilizing the map feature and locating team members who may be crossing paths or at a location that we need them to look at an item.

Pros:

Momentum provides ease of access via the mobile app and web based platform.

Cons:

The device seems to draw battery power. If we have an asset that sits for an extended period of time, the momentum device will draw power.

Great Tracking GPS

Comments: Great Have used them since 2020 Used two other company before and Momentum is very reliable

Pros:

Easy to use. has plug or Straight battery Hook up. Great app and desktop View

Cons:

If a replacement Is need they will send for free but takes a week to get from the West coast to east cost

It works on cars and golf carts

Comments: The GPS has worked out for what we need. We have put on our patrol cars and golf carts. The golf cart reporting is limited but surprised it works

Pros:

Pretty limited when it comes to installing on a golf cart

Definitely Worth It!

Comments: I have overall enjoyed using this service and will continue to use it for our fleet.

Pros:

I like the up-to-date information provided and the real-time tracking. Another great feature is that you can monitor the mph and the time the vehicle has been parked.

Cons:

The only con that I can think of is that the satellite location drops on occasion. This is explainable in certain remote areas though.

Highly recommend Momentum!

Comments: Things have been pretty flawless. Minimal issues and consistent service and pricing.

Pros:

It is very simple to use and allows for mile tracking by state which is greatly helpful for tax purposes.

Cons:

I can't really think of anything. Things are as advertised!

Solid consistent service

Comments: My warehouse manager was able to order easily and get them installed. They operated consistently and I didn’t have to think about them.

Pros:

How easy it was to see my trucks. I could click on the app and see everything within a few seconds.

Cons:

I have no complaints. I’ve had you guys for years and everything positive.

It's accurate and gives us updates on all our units. Love that we can check mileage/ fuel levels etc without actually being near the vehicle. Furthermore the cameras have helped tremendously

Comments: Overall had a good experience. Had one issue a few years back that required me to send van into dealer for service. Overall happy.

Pros:

Price/Ease of Use, only needed to plug and play

Not enough features, some of the functionality of the online app is not robust enough.

BEWARE BEWARE

Comments: HORRIBLE

Pros:

At the beginning decent customer service. Units in my vehicles have not sent a signal for over a year. Told them about it numerous times.

Cons:

False alerts when it worked. Lack of customer service last year plus. No clear directions on how to quit.
