Comments: We installed a wall display on our control room to keep monitored the substation behavior, and be capable to detect any irregularity in electric flows though the production facility. EES has been the solution, combined with dedicated sensors installed on critical devices. Good reliability and analytical capabilities allow to understand the dynamics behind the power consumption in heavy industrial equipments, like motors, ovens, etc.
Pros:
- Combined with sensors, it gives full monitoring and diagnostic on power consumption, faults, anomalies. - Good for medium-large sized manufacturing facilities with complex electrical layouts. - Reporting engine with email alerts and web based interface - Being a qualified user in energy market, it reduces risks of penalties
Cons:
- Quite expensive - Require experience for proper initial setup - Seems to be discontinued (out of sale)
Best EMS that I have work and use with a great capabilities
Pros:
Have all the capabilities that you need to monitor and control your energy system, easy to use one time you have the application already running.
Cons:
Schneider have to develop a better strategy to the developers, because you cant easy find information about configuration and applications development.
