HORENSO is an attendance tracking system developed for Japanese companies to facilitate compliance with labor laws. Mindful of upcoming changes to labor standards, the tool enables employers to encourage their staff to use paid leave entitlements. Staff can select days off via smartphones and request approvals in real time. Meanwhile, supervisors can use it to develop a system for staggered clock-in and off-duty intervals, as well as set up attendance requests during staff shortages. Staff members can clock in using a smartphone connected to an in-house sensor, while HR staff can access centralized, aggregated timecards in real time, checking for overtime and near-limit work.
