Comments: It is very flexible, enabling one to have a personalized order of work and flow, which may suit a certain design project.

Pros:

With Smartsheet, you can easily create and manage projects, track progress, and collaborate with team members in real-time. One of the most powerful features of Smartsheet is its critical path highlighting feature. It makes it much easier for you to notice any issues early and try to sort them out. Smartsheet is an online tool, so clients, you, and your team members can use Smartsheet from any location and at any time.

Cons:

Unfortunately, in Gantt chart view, there are limited possibilities to customize the task dependencies. Availability features of allocating various resources do not incorporate part-time availability well enough.

Smartsheet - Data to Dashboard

Comments: The Smartsheet is a great platform for data visualization and project management. It helped me reduce the cost of two software programs, Power BI and MSP, into one.

Pros:

The data visualization along with the data automation helps to get insights of the data.

Cons:

The Gantt chart options are to be added more to get a better look ahead & the Cost is higher than that of competitive software.

Overall Good Product for Project tracking

Comments: Good for tracking projects but takes some time to learn all of the features.

The platform’s logical graphical user interface (GUI) enhances productivity by offering a clear and organized view of tasks, timelines, and dependencies. The layout is not only easy to understand but also customizable, catering to diverse project needs and user preferences.

Cons:

Although Smartsheet offers various integrations, setting them up can sometimes be complex and require additional configuration. Some users may find the integration process less seamless than other platforms.

Comments: I adapted to Smartsheets from Microsoft Project without any training or research. It is a powerful tool and easy to use.

Pros:

Smartsheets has all the classic project management tools in an easy to use intuitive package. The ample suite of templates made getting started really easy.

Cons:

The dashboard portions of the application took some getting used to.

Comments: I have really loved Smartsheet and continue to find new ways to use it to help streamline processes!

Pros:

Smartsheet is a great hub for information storage and group collaboration. I like that it's basically an excel sheet where you can attach documents and communicate with others across your business. I also especially like the automation feature which streamlines processes.

Cons:

There are some additional features that I wish Smartsheet had. For example, I wish you could filter by "This Month". I also wish it could integrate with Outlook a little better.

Love Smartsheet

Comments: I used Smartsheet while working as a Project Accountant. It allowed me to work very closely with the project managers, service team, and engineers. I am a huge fan of Smartsheet and recommend it to any company that is project based and need a tool to manage the work flow.

Pros:

I love that Smartsheet allows you to effectively collaborate with ppl that’s on the project team. It allows you to keep track of the workflow.

Cons:

The only con I did have is that I thought you could not see who was the last person to modify something on the Smartsheet, but actually there’s ways to track changes with an activity log.

Smartsheet is a great project management tool!

Pros:

I like that Smartsheet has a lot of different functions. It can be used for project management, inventory or event event planning. It's very easy to use and it seems like the builders are listening to the customers when they request new features.

Cons:

Sometimes it feels like there are too many features to know how to use or benefit from all of them.

Comments: The experience is positive , like the flexibility to manage multiple things at one place is nice

The ability to be flexible. Like you can use smartsheet for anything from managing projects to tracking task or handling budgets.

It sometimes gets slow when dealing with complex data and for some features you haven’t seen k ki

Smartsheet: Advanced Project Management Tool

Comments: Overall experience with Smartsheet has been great. I have been using it since 2020 for my project tracking, daily tasks, monitor reports and so many other things and it provides a great visibility to me, my team and leadership on where we are on our projects with their timelines.

Pros:

Love the new slick version of Smartsheet which allows me to cross function and collaborate with multiple users from different teams and also helps me set up a level-based permissions to access the sheets which I think is a great help for my business needs.

Cons:

Some times on the filters, it doesn't fully function or filter out the wanted and unwanted data. Also, the same filters when applied sometimes mess up my entire data set

Easy to use Excel alternative

Comments: Overall, I enjoy using Smartsheet and it has replaced my use of Excel in most instances.

Pros:

I love the project planning features of Smartsheet and using it as an alternative to Excel to track and monitor simple data sets, especially when these need to be shared with multiple people.

Cons:

Despite having many of the features of Excel, it does not have capabilities such as tabs or pivot tables within a single document. You often have to stitch multiple documents together to manipulate data which can be tricky and a hassle. I would also like it to integrate better with other products.

Low cost, quick adaptability, and ease in learning are key to this products.

Comments: While not as robust in spreadsheet functionality as, say, Excel, it's plethora of varied components and a robust selection of tools used in every day business and database software.

Pros:

Familiarity to other standard office products such as MS Office, ease of use and adaptability based on our project needs. The overall feel is familiar to most as it uses standard business software looks in many key areas but has a large variety of options to suit your specific needs.

Cons:

There were some limitations in the spreadsheet look and functionality adjustments.

Smartsheet is taking over

Comments: Excellent features and its the best tool to create project plans. This is become more and more popular with businesses, so its worth taking the time and mastering your skills on this tool

Excellent for project plans, dashboards can be easily customised and are excellent way to get a high level, save time creating weekly reports

Cons:

Guest users now need to have a licsence You need to practise how to use some features sich as dasboards Can be tricky moving rows

Smartsheet is a good project management tool. It helps you track your grouped dependencies and exported and clear GANTT chart

The sub-tasks were hard to manage within the tool or it wasn’t as intuitive

Comments: We use smartsheet for project schedule tracking, schedule dashboards for clients, and some data collection. We have always been impressed with the ease of use and the support offered.

Pros:

Easy to use with great collaboration features that allow for across team and client communication so everyone stays up to date on schedules or metrics.

Cons:

I think the sheets and schedule features are a little more robust than their dashboard. Though all parts have steadily improved over the 5 or 6 years Ive used Smartsheet.

Cons:

Though Smartsheet has lot of Pros. There are some Cons too. It has Limited advance features, Performance issue with large data sets, and it is expensive when compared with other applications.

Pros:

With Smartsheet, I am able to create and assign tasks automatically. Tracking time and expenses on projects is also at breeze for 24/7/365.

Having the follow-up of each task is the best function because it allows me in real time to visualize the progress that is being achieved with each document or task, the work administration makes it easier to do it together with my work team by having a chat in real time to communicate and support us when needed. Its initial configuration is easy to implement with the help of support that is needed to clarify doubts that arise during configuration

Cons:

There is no serious problem that has occurred, it always works perfectly and when there are updates they are easy to implement and get everything back in order

Smartsheet has been a blessing in disguise

Comments: It is an extremely flexible application which streamlines workflow and increases the efficiency of workflow.

Pros:

The various tools made data syncing, sharing, and integration became very easy for us to automate our workflow. Integration with other platforms helped us to cut down a lot of extra work. Smartsheet has become an ideal workplace for us where our team can work effortlessly and flexibly. The customer service and dashboard are extremely intuitive and accessible.

Cons:

Smartsheet offers everything a new business would need. Therefore, there is nothing I dislike about Smartsheet
