An excellent product for simple backups

Pros:

Price, Easy to install and setup, simple licensing model

Cons:

Descriptions of backups and incremental backup jobs

Best Backup Hands Down

Comments: Been using the software for over 15 years... it has been extremely reliable.

Pros:

Ease of use for daily incremental. Top notch support team

Cons:

Can be difficult to determine cause of backup failures.

Good software. Hostile support.

Comments: We have been using it to backup customer servers for local and cloud backups for years with (thankfully) few issues. When there is an issue I typically have to figure it out because their support is less than helpful.

Pros:

It backs up our servers. It's relatively easy to configure and sends comprehensive reports and success/failure of the backup.

Cons:

The support. I don't typically contact support, but when I do I have a real problem. Support will respond with a terse and often incorrect fix and immediately close my support ticket. When I reply back I get snarky and rude replies.

Quality Backup Software

Comments: The software has done an excellent job. I have had very little need to interact with the software over the last several years.

Pros:

I like the fact that BackupAssist scans for any malware prior to building the backup file.

Cons:

I have not cons at this time. Support has been excellent.

Hassle-free backups everyday!

Comments: We've been using BackupAssist for 7 or 8 years now and have been very happy with it. We back up our servers to a NAS device in another one of our buildings. The backups always run as expected and we receive a detailed report via email after the backup is complete. We've never tried the bare metal restores but the file restore process is quick and easy. The software is also updated very regularly.

Pros:

This software offers so much bang for the buck. It backs up our servers reliably and consistently and also runs scans for potential ransomware during the backups. Restoring data is easy when it's needed. Add-ons are available for Hyper-V, Exchange, SQL, and cloud backup.

Cons:

While I like having the ransomware scans, they can significantly increase the time it takes to complete the backup. It can be turned off though.

Simply the best security backup software used in windows server

Comments: It is an excellent help to have such a powerful backup tool capable of restoring an entire server with configurations and data in just minutes is invaluable for a company

Pros:

* Super fast creation in just minutes of local or remote backups. *Easy to use with a pretty friendly interface. *excellent documentation, and online support, the support service of the creative company is made to order 24 hours 365 days of the incredible year. * Restoration of settings and data are quite fast. * Support via mail and telephone both with immediate response. *Modular prices according to the utilities or modules that you need from the software.

Cons:

It is only for Microsoft platform, it would be great if there was also a version for Linux servers since it is a powerful backup tool

Pros:

Worked on a regular basis without me having to keep telling it to go

Cons:

I know very little about other similar products, but this seemed simple

Fast recovery

Pros:

I used this at a previous company I worked for. The recovery time was so fast, it didn't even interrupt my work day. I highly recommend it.

Cons:

Nothing. The program was fast and efficient and did what it was supposed to.

Great Product and Price

Pros:

The price is great for the service that you're getting. It works well with all of our systems.

Cons:

Not too much I can say bad about it. It's not very well known yet. I hope that changes.

Easy application to use, backs up information easily, reliable.

Comments: Ease of use, Security of backing up important items, compatible with most systems.

Pros:

Pros: The name of the application, backup assist does exactly what it says it does. Its nice to have it for your computer as sometimes computers will crash you don't want to lose items, so this helps in keeping an ease of mind.

Cons:

Cons, if the computer has older software, or you didn't set up properly not all information will always be backed up, though this a rare as the user as the option to adjust this.

Great server backup solution

Pros:

Great peace of mind knowing that I can very quickly restore a server with previous config and data

Cons:

No availability on other operating systems

Super fast & reliable

Pros:

Quick setup, user friendly, recovery is simple and quick.

Cons:

I havent found anything yet that I do not like
