About Canva
Design and publish anything in a few clicks. From brochure to video, access thousands of templates, images, videos, and more for free.
As someone who does not specialize in marketing or social media posts this app has been a God-send. It is very easy to use, easy to navigate, and easy to implement.
The only defect of this app is for sure that it is not completely free. For those who do not use it professionally or are not yet able to invest money it ends up becoming bad.

Easy-to-Use Design Tool with Templates for All Skill Levels
Comments: My overall experience with Canva is great. It’s user-friendly, versatile, and perfect for creating professional-looking designs quickly.
Pros:
Easy-to-use design tools, vast template library, and accessibility for beginners and professionals.
Cons:
Limited advanced design features compared to professional software like Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
Canva - The one stop shop for graphic design
Comments: Canva is an all-in-one program that exceeds our use case. We love it and have used it for promos, poster designs and social media post designs. The opportunities are endless and we love that you can export in all file sizes and types for printers.
Pros:
Very easy to use. Great for branding and logo design with a wide range of ideas and inspiration. We export high quality images which is hard to find an easy to use program with that option at an affordable price range.
Cons:
Many features are locked unless you have a paid design. They should give some included in the free version to make life easier such as free resize of canvas. Only minor cons.
FREE Canva Review
Comments: I only use the free items. I find they are very good and I can create a large volume of things.
Pros:
I like the options it has. Covers a lot of designs.
Cons:
I don't like that you have to pay for the premium features.
Canva Review
Comments: I love this tool for brochures and spicing up images. It's easy to use and there is so much to chose from.
Pros:
The ability to use existing templates that are creative and diverse.
Cons:
When downloading an image, the quality is low unless you make it into a higher quality, which some people don't know how to do.
Graphic designer converts to Canva!
Comments: I've been a graphic designer for 20+ years and using Canva the last 4 and have found it super easy to use and works well, especially for digital designs.
Pros:
It's very user-friendly for people who don't have a lot of design experience. The templates are a great starting point for people. Having clipart and stock photos available within the program is amazing!
Cons:
I wish you could manage the bleed settings for print better and.
Canva is for EVERYONE
Comments: It's been a learning curve and I am all the better user and producer for it.
Pros:
Canva is the one-stop-shop for anything I need to design as an Events Manager - menus, food labels, special cards, invitations, Instagram posts, email blasts, signs. The best feature is its massive bandwidth of what you can do!
Cons:
I would like to better organize by files in the "Uploads" section but it is not a deal breaker.
powerful and easy tools
Comments: very efficient and fast tool making difficult work easy
Pros:
very easy to use there is a lot of work done by artificial intelligence
Cons:
it is sometimes difficult to find artificial intelligence for a specific job for beginners
Alternatives Considered:
Amazing AI Integration
Comments: Overall amazed by the possibilities of video background replacements using fast AI!
Pros:
Canva is super amazing artificial intelligence for image and video creation and background replacement!
Cons:
It needs more video background replacement and also more layering. At least 3 layers: background, middle and foreground to add an illusion of depth. Also maybe more 3d background space allowing some illusion of movement like a green screen?
Fun with Canva occurs even with boring topics
Comments: I had a great experience with Canva, it made my life a lot easier when making my logo, and when I went searching for new tools and resources for various things, canva popped up right there, which was great because I had so much fun doing my projects.
Pros:
There are so many various, fun, unique experiences to be had with Canva. I didn't think it would have a feature for reading a PDF, but it does!
Cons:
The fact you have to pay for it, I think it would be more widely used, if it was free, however, I understand the reason it probably has so many awesome features, photos to choose from and more is from the fact it's paid, probably. It's when you start making these programs free, the less likely for updates and relative findings.
Alternatives Considered:
Top experience/ value for money
Comments: Very good, I paid for the pro version to give me more access to content like images and graphics. I’ve used it a lot to build parts for the website and presentations and would highly recommend.
Pros:
Very easy to use once you get the hang of it with a really wide selection of content to add to the designs. I really like that you can save things in different formats for different use cases like websites or presentations.
Cons:
You are a little bit restricted in terms of free flowing design compared to a photoshop from my experience. Sharing with other people that haven’t used it before to edit can also be a bit of a challenge because it can take a little bit of time to get up to speed.
Canva's blend of ease of use, adaptability, and teamwork capabilities makes it a priceless resource
Comments: The workflow is further streamlined by Canva's integrations with various programs and platforms, including as Dropbox, Google Drive, and social media sites, which facilitate the import and export of files as well as the sharing and immediate publication of designs. Time is saved and the possibility of mistakes is decreased by this integration, which lessens the need to transition between several platforms and tools.
Pros:
The thing that I value most about Canva as the Director of Brand Management is that it's so simple to use and accessible, allowing anyone on our team to produce designs of a high caliber without needing too much graphic design knowledge. It's easy for anyone to create visually attractive content fast with Canva's user-friendly drag-and-drop interface, whether they're creating presentations, social media graphics, internal papers, or marketing collateral. We can maintain consistent branding across all our visual communications and greatly increase our team's productivity because to its user-friendliness.
Cons:
Canva's limited customization and sophisticated design skills in comparison to more professional graphic design software are my main concerns as the Director of Brand Management.
My Take on Canva
Comments: My experience with Canva is very positive. I love everything about it, is very affordable and well worth every dime.
Pros:
There are several things I like about Canva. I have been using the software for many years, It has allowed me to create videos, images, adverts, gifts, business cards, flyers, postcards, t-shirts, etc. I love the ease of use and it is so wonderful how they are constantly adding more and more new updates and actively growing as a platform. They also provide a personal touch by having launch events, contests, and recognize their most active creators. I can safely say that Canva is on my short list of my favorite software.
Cons:
This can be considered a good problem to have, but, Canva has added so many new apps and features over the last couple years, I find it hard to keep up with all of it and can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming to get started learning new things to do when it comes to my designs. Also, the app can sometimes be a little clunky.
Canva is easy to use
Comments: I love Canva, I use it daily to create images and videos. I noticed that it has been improving more and more, especially in terms of videos and with this it helps us a lot to do incredible things.
Pros:
The ease and practicality of finding models, elements and resources, so that you feel like a designer who knows how to make models for companies through great resources, where over time you will be able to do better things than in Photoshop.
Cons:
It needs a little more resources, so that we can get close to Photoshop when it comes to static images. Because many resources we have to do a "jump" to look like what we do in Photoshop and as a result we waste a little time.
The Best Marketing Tool I Have
Comments: Canva has revolutionized marketing for me!
Pros:
Canva has all the features (and then some) of the desktop publishing software we used to have to purchase and is incredibly easy to use. I now exclusively use it for all my promotion needs, including photo editing.
Cons:
I'm not a fan of the new organization of projects, templates, etc. but it's nothing I can't overcome. I preferred to have all my current projects at the top of the queue.
Canva, Perfect for Beginners and Professionals
Comments: As a genealogist and small business owner specializing in family history templates, Canva has been invaluable for creating polished, professional designs with ease. The platform’s intuitive interface allows me to focus on crafting beautiful layouts and organizing complex family history data without a steep learning curve, which saves me time. For someone who works with a range of customers—many of whom are new to design themselves—Canva’s ease of use and accessibility have been perfect for client collaboration.
Pros:
Canva has transformed how I create and manage design projects, from family history book templates to social media graphics. It's incredibly user-friendly, making it ideal for beginners and experienced designers. The drag-and-drop interface, extensive template library, and access to free (and premium) design elements mean I can easily create professional-quality designs without needing advanced design software. One of Canva’s standout features is its collaborative nature. Being able to share projects and work on designs with clients and colleagues in real time has been a huge asset, especially when making quick edits or receiving feedback. The export options are versatile, allowing for high-quality downloads across various formats, which has been perfect for digital and print projects.
Cons:
A couple of areas for improvement would be the file organization within folders, as managing many designs can become overwhelming, and sometimes the platform can be a bit slow with larger projects, I don't care for how you have to click to edit now, However, the pros far outweigh these minor inconveniences. Canva is essential in my business, whether I'm creating detailed genealogy pages or promotional content. I recommend Canva for anyone looking to streamline their design workflow!
There's almost nothing you can't do with Canva
Comments: I've been using Canva for 4 years, and it has never let me down. I've been able to create so much with it. And even some designers I've hired to make assets for me have used Canva — which is great because I get to own the native file and update the text on it in the future. I think it's very reasonably priced for what you get.
Pros:
What is there NOT to like about Canva? It's great for professional designers AND those of us who need to DIY but aren't pros. Things I love about Canva: - There is a template for EVERYTHING - Every template is customizable - With paid plans, you get access to so many different plugins and assets - I was able to create so many things: invoice banners, email signatures, LinkedIn photo and banner, business cards, social media posts, reports, slides — the list goes on. Canva never lets me down. Whenever I log into Canva to make something, I'm always pleasantly surprised at what I *can* do with it. But the main thing I love about Canva is how easy it is to use.
Cons:
The only teeny tiny thing I don't love about Canva is the actual dashboard with all the folders and projects. I still find it not intuitive and messy-looking. I like things organized in folders, but for some reason my dashboard is always flooded with "recent" designs. Looking for and finding an existing file always takes longer than it should
I haven't looked back!
Comments: Canva is always going to be my go-to for design.
Pros:
Usage for layout and features seems similar across the whole platform. Layers and the 'click and move/resize' method makes everything very accessible, and once the basics have been mastered users can edit in a more precise way using more specific tools.
Cons:
Too many apps have been introduced - it's hard to find what you need sometimes.
Easy, practical application that makes our work easier
Comments: My overall experience is very satisfactory and I love the feeling that Canva gives me as a professional in the field
Pros:
I really like the Canva app because it makes our work a lot easier and uncomplicated. It has several interesting functions and we can change them whenever we find necessary.
Cons:
What I don't like about Canva are the Pro features
Product and Service Evaluation
Comments: Only good experiences and I will continue using and recommending Canva, in my opinion it is the best.
Pros:
With many tools to choose from for creating different types of art, Canva offers endless options. In addition to all its qualities, it is accessible and easy to use.
Cons:
I think it's fair to have a paid version, everything has a cost to be carried out and there is maintenance of the service.
I suggested to use Canva.
Comments: One of the best design websites out there, their free resources are fantastic and the paid ones are even better. Being able to resize to any dimensions, remove backgrounds and more flawlessly with ease when photoshop is so much more expensive and harder to use is a lifesaver.
Pros:
What I admire most about Canva is its user-friendly interface combined with a vast library of templates, graphics, and tools. It empowers users of all skill levels to create professional-quality designs effortlessly. Plus, its collaborative features and seamless integration across devices make it a standout choice for team projects.
Cons:
One area for improvement in Canva is its pricing structure, especially for advanced features like premium templates and stock images, which may not be accessible to all users on a budget. Additionally, occasional lags or performance issues during peak usage times can be frustrating but are generally manageable.
I love Canva.com, it is a perfect tool for beginners and atleast very useful for anyone who can afford it.
Comments: Great, and very useful practically. It is not top tier quality though, but very fair for the price they charge.
Pros:
Personally, and because I was a novice in digital marketing and more so in web design and market communication. Canva appeared like an AI assistant with 99% of the "answers", saved me in a few occasions, and made me look good in front of my superiors. An assistant who can create a business card, brochure, presentations, videos, or social media reels, in seconds. I remember a time when such services would've required thousands of dollars and an army of designers, huge printing machines, and a lot of cardboard. They would give me a free life time membership if they knew how many times I told other business people to get Canva immediately....
Cons:
the text to image function, while very accurate in the descriptive aspect of the photo generated, but the quality is not that high, but I wouldn't expect more for the cost of using Canva. I initially found it cumbersome to find my old designs and to use some of the capabilities Canva offers, but that was on me. I found the structure a bit confining, and could use more comprehensiveness to cover each dept of most companies.
I really like Canva because it's a practical and easy-to-use app.
Comments: My experience with canva has been incredible, due to the ease of use, it has greatly speeded up some weekly deliveries for social media posts, so I recommend to all users with low or medium experience and who need to produce more, to use this software that it is easier and faster to create quality content.
Pros:
What I like most about Canva is its comprehensive functionality and ease of use, which allows anyone to create professional designs with a refined look.
Cons:
Despite being an economical platform, many users opt for the free version, which ends up being more limited in terms of templates, image bank, fonts, elements and usability of some tools that are only available in the paid plan. the export settings are limited, such as the Raw file
I really like Canva because it's an easy and cheap app and has a lot of variety
Comments: So my experiences are certainly great, it's a great app to use. And I would definitely recommend it to other people, even with some limitations in the free mode, but it's really great.
Pros:
the ease of use, the variety of huge templates, graphic resources, collaboration, customization, integration and the affordable price and innovative updates are top
Cons:
so have the issue of the free function is limited
CANVA is my Roman Empire
Comments: Canva coming into my life changed the way I design, create, and share information with others in my personal life and at work through my therapy practice.
Pros:
Canva is my FAVORITE website! I can seamlessly create beautiful documents, invitations, print outs, infographics, and pretty much anything I can think of and more! I'm obsessed.
Cons:
Nothing. I can't think of anything I would do differently at this point.
Cannot live without
Comments: It's been amazing. I've been using canva for almost 10 years now and it's just getting better.
Pros:
Canva is a must have for any organization that doesn't have the funding or budget to afford a social media manager. It has so many tools that support not only marketing, but even organization systems processing.
Cons:
I just wish there was a way to integrate hyperlinks into the postings that we send out. I don't like having to put in actual link down because it's ugly.
