Don't stay home, Meetup with great people with Meetup Pro.

Comments: First I used the free app. I started to use it during the pandemic. The possibilities seemed endless. There were communities that could help me meet other professionals in my industry, make friends, and even some possible dating opportunities. I am just a very practical person. Once I realized I had other avenues for what was most important to me I did not use the paid version because I did not really actually need it. For example I need very specific referral partners to increase my market share in my industry. If I felt this was imperative that I would have used it. In my case Linked In Pro was more effective. But for others this may work very very well.

Pros:

It has so many communities on the app. I liked how it gave me options to meet up with copious amounts of people for professional purposes, but also for personal ones.

Cons:

The price. Not that it was necessarily expensive, but it was priced high enough where I had to consider if I would really use it. If you're going through a tough time financially you will reconsider using it unless, it's proven to be a necessity for you, not speculative.

Pros:

I like that this product makes branding easy thanks to customization capabilities. It comes with email and communication management features. It is easy to use thanks to the customizable templates.

Cons:

With the quality features of Meetup Pro, I can barely complain because it meets business needs.

Meetup is such a pain to use

Comments: Overall horrific customer and user experience - very buggy website and event messaging however we stick with it as it is well used by our customers and it's easy to find events

It recently updated it's prices which effected a lot of small, indie and social impact events companies. The email and messaging is super buggy and they hide the costs of how much it is to create a group. s

Comments: It was very efficient and easy using Meetup Pro, helped us tremendously with promoting events without headaches.

Pros:

Perfect platform for both users and event organizers. Very easy to use and navigate. You can post an event in no time!

Maybe more analytical features for event organizers.

Larger amounts of data enable us to accomplish our objectives more quickly. Another useful feature is the ability for administrators to send emails directly to their pro members. Additionally, different headers and network logos that link to your own website and social media outlets might aid in building your brand.

Cons:

There is nothing, in my opinion, that I despise because it makes me expand by a factor of a hundred by increasing the number of participants. Additionally, it helps me create a solid community. Hosting various group events and sending group messages, which aid in gaining insight into patterns and boost engagement, is a key function I appreciate.

too complicated for easy tasks

Comments: This application is one of the a few out there. Comparing to other ones, Meetup's user base is very dedicated while other applications' users are mostly spammers. However, application does not provide enough tools to increase the socialibility.

Cons:

Application should find a way to make people more involved to create an online social environment.

Meetup vs. Eventbrite

Pros:

I can find the groups I joined in the dashboard which it is neat and Eventbrite doesn't have this feature.

Cons:

There is a password suggestion function every time I sign up with my account. I don't think it is necessary.
