About Akiflow
Akiflow is a Tasks + Calendars Productivity App
I love how fast and sleek the design of this application is. Too many task management systems are clunky and require a lot of time dedicated to maintaining them.
I am desperate for iOS apps to allow me to use Akiflow when I'm on the go or simply not at my desk.

Great Task Management and Productivity Tool!
Comments: Really love using Akiflow, it's now an essential part of my workday!
Pros:
Really easy to create tasks, categorise them into projects, and plan my day and week.
Cons:
I haven't yet found a way to meaningfully use Tags, perhaps I need to look at the tutorial videos again.
Alternatives Considered:
Finally found the Smooth "Flow" I always Looking for but...
Pros:
Oh, I absolutely love the ability to integrate with so many applications and so snappily, so quickly. Also, the overall approach is that you cannot move a task to make it accidentally get lost unless it's planned for some day or date. (Basically, a task stays in your inbox unless you plan it)
Cons:
What I least like about akiflow is that it's starting to focus on cool AI stuff instead of nailing the basics like the ability for custom reminders or the whole can of worm features people have been requesting on the canny page; I think Akiflow is really, really good at what it does, and it should try to nail the primary first and then approach towards AI Stuff, I know it's the new cool trend and all, but personally, I have more appreciated if did the fundamentals more better instead of jumping to the latest shiny stuff.
Great product and great team
Comments: The experience of akiflow is amazing. Amazing customer success team
Pros:
Akiflow is a great product to have differents that give you an overview of your tasks and your calendars.
Cons:
The ui must be improved with time also the the developpement of new feature is slow the price of the solution is to High
A great tool for work and personal life !
Comments: A great tool that's perfect for a multiple of disciplines - I've even started using it in my daily life.
Pros:
Integration with all the tools I use, particularly the great slack integration. Command bar interface, with availability everywhere. Slots are a great feature that help with time boxing.
Cons:
Mobile app is still in beta, and could do wit a lot of polishing up. For example, the inference of dates, durations etc doesn't work as well as desktop, Slack saves could have a pop up that allows you to add planning info, like when you create a Polly.
One of the finest desktop app I've ever used.
Comments: One of the finest calendar and todo apps I've ever used.
Pros:
The ability to integrate tasks and calendars, ease of use, ability to block time, and the use of keyboard shortcuts.
Cons:
Taking too long to create a native linear integration.
Good app, the best for task management I've found, so far.
Pros:
I've been using for almost two years now. Daily planning task and good calendar integration and visualization is the best from all the tools I've researched.
Cons:
Analytics tracking is only based only on tasks, and doesnt count events (which is the most part of my calendar). AI features still a promise.
Easy to use and has everything I need
Pros:
It took the stress off for me. I know all my tasks from all my tools are there, and I can easily plan them on my calendar. Many "extra" features are nice like time slots, stats and the share availability (it's like calendly, but integrated with all my calendars)
Cons:
The mobile app was not the best until a couple of months ago, but it has been working well for some time now, and when I asked, they told me they were ready to release it to the stores.
Akiflow is a game changer for productivity
Comments: I love it! I cannot see myself working without it anymore!
Pros:
Takes some getting used to all features, but there are loads of tutorials. It improves my productivity, being super easy to create tasks on the fly (so I don't forget them later), track work completed per #tag (i.e. projects). I can schedule meetings from there and share my availability. I love the stats and daily shutdown ritual to plan the next day. The integrations with email and slack is brilliant, I can quickly set a reminder/flag an email and it pops up as a Task in my Akiflow inbox.
Cons:
Currently, it is not possible to customise meetings created via Akiflow. When creating a zoom meeting it will have the most strict security settings, such as await lobby and disabling participants to share screen.
Best aggregator and organization of tasks
Comments: Great product with great support..definitely a product market fit for their offerings
Pros:
Interface, scheduling link, and slack channel for useful tip and support
Cons:
Mobile app was initially harder to use. But this is changing
A great productivity tool that combines different tools together
Comments: Overall a lovely tool to organise your day to be productive.
Pros:
Simple to create tasks allowing me to plan the day and week ahead. The daily planning rituals are good habits to get into. It also has a good integration with Slack, if I save a thread or link to be consumed later, that automatically comes into my Akiflow inbox.
Cons:
I would love for the tasks created in Akiflow to also flow into Notion. As far as I'm aware, I can only get Notion tasks to flow into Akiflow but not the other way around.
The task manager that everybody waited for
Pros:
The UI/UX is extremely clean, there are regular updates, the development team is communicative and this software definitely changed the way I work, enabling my to become more productive as well as to better plan my day. This could really become a huge game changer in the productive apps industry.
Cons:
In general, both reminders and progress tracking could see improvement. It would be great to be able to plan recurrent reminders, as well as to receive e-mails notifying when a reminder is approaching, as ClickUp does. A better way to deal with long-term tasks would be very much convenient as well. The pricing is a bit too high in my opinion but I can see why it's at this price.
Alternatives Considered:
Single Source of Truth
Comments: I am in love with this app. It is a game-changer and I will continue to use it for as long as it exists.
Pros:
Great team building a powerful task consolidation program which makes it painless to have all the tasks, events, reminders, and messages in one, well-organized location. Additionally, it is beyond easy to categorize, prioritize, and schedule each task/project through their tagging features, priority metrics, due dates, and time blocking methods. The real beauty is that you can use all of these features or only a few, as the system is flexible and capable for any personality/workflow.
Cons:
It is still in Beta so there are still a few bugs but none that are critical, and there is no mobile yet, although it will be released soon as of this review.
Great for seeing a realistic view of my day!
Comments: It’s really helped me to plan better, stay focused, and see the progress I have made.
Pros:
Akiflow allows me to see my meetings and plan my tasks with estimated durations around those meetings and my lunch and breaks. I can plan a more realistic day which leaves me feeling more accomplished at the end of the day.
Cons:
Patiently waiting for more 2-way sync integrations with other project management tools. The inability (at this time) to integrate with Outlook calendar accounts.
Akiflow improved my task management while reducing overwhelm and time wastage.
Comments: Sometimes, I got overwhelmed with what to focus on personally to move the needle forward in my business. Akiflow solved that for me. The time blocking made me more effective in doing the actual task at hand.
Pros:
I've been doing Notion consulting for start-ups for over 4 years, but I felt very limited in my task management and time-blocking possibilities. Implementing Akiflow as my personal task management tool it really improved my personal productivity levels. It gave me more mental clarity on what to focus on. Notion now helps me to plan projects and measure progress for the team, while Akiflow supports me in personal productivity and getting things done on a task level.
Cons:
I recommend Akiflow to all my clients to use it for their entire team, the pricing point is sometimes a breaking point for their entire team, but are using it for themselves.
Akiflow pulls everything together
Comments: I have been very happy with Akiflow for planning my day and seeing all my tasks in one place.
Pros:
Akiflow pulls everything together to see the full picture of your day. Instead of checking in multiple project management tools for tasks, it puts them in one spot and checks them off in the pm tool when you're done. Keeps me from having to be in multiple tools throughout the day.
Cons:
Would like AI scheduling for tasks to plan out my day.
Good new age Fantastical alternative
Pros:
Tasks and Cal Events is the key purpose of Akiflow. Brining in tasks from Notion/Jira is an absolute bonus and feature i've used extensively!
Cons:
Unless you're into Akiflow's strict guidelines, there's not a lot of use. For example, caldav support or simple support for creating notion tasks from Akiflow - all these seem basic but don't exist here.
Great Daily Planner
Pros:
It is a great daily planner with a focus on your calendar. It is easy to consolidate data from lots of sources. Lots of nice features like the menu bar and meeting joiner.
Cons:
The product is built nicely, and customer service is responsive if you have a problem.
Oleh Ferents's Review
Comments: I solve the problem of getting work done and forgetting important tasks during the day/week.Akiflow helps me to be productive and plan my tasks - it is what I was looking for.
Pros:
I like that Akiflow has a lot of integrations (I hope the list will grow), "Share Availability" functionality and time-blocking feature.
Cons:
It would be cool to be able to view statistics on past tasks, how much time was invested, how much was actually spent. Also, I want to have a separate type of task, something like habits.
Love the product
Pros:
I use lot of tools and Akiflow is the best way to manage all of them, really good product
Cons:
I think the iOS app can be really good,
I can't imagine not using Akiflow!
Comments: Overall I've seen a substantial increase in the free time I have because I'm far better able to plan everything. Akiflow also keeps me on track by reminding me when things are about to start, and how much time is remaining on existing tasks. I can see that further use will definitely enable me to start taking on more projects because time is being well spent and better managed.
Pros:
I've only been using Akiflow for a few weeks but already it's transformed how I work. The best feature for me has to be the integration with all the other tools I use daily and how simple Akiflow makes scheduling everything in one central place. I use Notion for reading, Todoist for personal and business GTD-style task management and ClickUP for managing customer projects. Akiflow integrates with all of them so I can stay on top of my reading (critical as a developer to be able to stay on top emerging tech), schedule and complete tasks in Todoist and see what time is left to work on customer projects. Being able to plan everything from everywhere has been the always been the gold standard. Now I can! Plus almost every screen and every action can be accessed with a shortcut. I think I might be in love.
Cons:
The only thing I think that needs work is the calendar view. I've already discussed this with the Akiflow team and there's plans to add a zoom feature to the calendar so that tasks which don't take up much time won't appear as small on the calendar.
Alternatives Considered:
The next gen productivity tool
Comments: Akiflow has helped me manage my time and energy with 100X efficiency. I get all my key tasks, scheduled calls, tasks assigned to me, all with specific categories all in one place.
Pros:
For me, the most powerful part is the hotkeys and the ability to switch between views, events, tasks, and more just by using hotkeys. I can also integrate my slack, email, todoist, google calendar, and notion and get all the tasks in one place and that just is the most amazing thing about akiflow.
Cons:
I am just waiting for the same to come for my phone, that's the only thing I have an issue with.
Akiflow is Amazing!
Comments: Using Akiflow for all my day-to-day task management has been a game changer for me. it helped me speed up my workflow and be more productive, there's no learning curve. It's just so easy to use right out of the bat that you can be productive in minutes.
Pros:
- it's easy to use. - the ability to drag and drop tasks into the calendar. - quickly creating and capturing tasks anywhere using the command bar. - having All My tasks and calendars in the same place. - the simplistic look and aesthetic.
Cons:
Waiting for fo the mobile app . . .
Helps you be more productive
Comments: One of the best productivity apps I have used. Has everything in one place.
Pros:
Daily planning is a great way to start the day to see what you need to get done. Also the tracking of daily goals is really helpful as well.
Cons:
The lack of a mobile app, but they are working on this!
Favorite Task Management App
Comments: Increased efficiency and focus with completing tasks.
Pros:
Easy command bar for capturing and scheduling tasks.
Cons:
The absence of a mobile app for such a long time...
Great tool if you're using Google Cal
Pros:
Happy with Akiflow for the most part. The interface is nice, the reminders are well done, it integrates with Asana, is perfect for time blocking, etc.
Cons:
I have had some issues with Asana tasks not fully syncing; some tasks fall through the cracks, but this is likely an issue with how we set up Asana. It would be perfect is there was some redundancy built in somewhere.
