Awesome Anti-virus I've used in my whole life

Comments: My overall experience with McAfee Complete Data Protection was awesome. This software is the best of all and beats all the softwares that I had previously used in terms of both price and services.

Pros:

Mc-Afee offers day-to-day virus protection as well as web pages scanning daily which has helped me to protect my data in my computer. It is easy to use and after installation, you don't need to do anything, everything is done by the software itself and provides highest protection possible.

Cons:

I found that the alerts provided by Mc-Afee is annoying and sometimes it takes a lot of my RAM of my computer.

The most reliable antivirus

Comments: In general terms, if you have the money to license the product, it is highly recommended for medium and large companies.

Pros:

It is an antivirus that I have known for many years and it makes me feel safe, both at home and in the companies I have worked with. It just gives me a lot of confidence

Cons:

Sometimes I feel that the computer, depending on the processor and memory, gets a bit slow, also the price is a bit high for small businesses.

A Tad Irritating.

Comments: McAfee can get things done if you are able to work through the program without getting frustrated, however I am unlikely to recommend it to anyone due to the awful experiences it has lead me through.

Pros:

I like how the software protects ones assets, allows one to run protective services and gives offers and options to utilize different ranges or parts of products (full membership or free versions).

Cons:

I absolutely detest how the McAfee software has countless pop ups, invasive notifications, constant redirects and sometimes unresponsive pop up options. I cannot stress enough how annoying the software can be for a beginning user, even helping someone with the software is infuriating. McAfee software, including the antivirus service was the single reason I moved to Norton... The UI of the software and irritating nature of its 'help and support' functionality just was not easy to work with or get through. I even had difficulties and the above mentioned issues with pop ups and unresponsive buttons when uninstalling the software.

The software is functional, versatile, and performed as expected.

Pros:

It performed exactly as expected, there are many customizable options, and I was able to apply the antivirus to multiple devices. I was charged an annual renewal fee this year, however I wasn't prepared and I contacted customer service and they refunded me immediately and offered a 6 month subscription instead of a year. It was a very pleasant experience.

Great Virus Protection

Comments: I feel that it served its purpose in protecting my data.

Pros:

I like that you can protect multiple devices with one application. It is worth the money and pays for itself.

Cons:

I feel that they have improved already and there is nothing that should be changed. This is great protection.

McAfee security is not so great

Comments: McAfee security is okay for light internet data users and not for heavy users as they are less prone to virus attacks.

Pros:

McAfee security is very easy to set up without any complication, even a computer learner can run the set up.

Cons:

McAfee security doesn't seem to see certain computer virus and is seen as a virus when run be another spyware application.

Pros:

Program have great usability and easy access plus its easy to understand the platform well providing great protection throughout all my devices

Cons:

The only thing i dont care to much for is the pop ups constantly trying to upsell products

It complies with all the functions of a normal antivirus and much more.

Pros:

I used it by chance because my computer has it incorporated and when using it I am very satisfied with this antivirus, what I like the most is that when I detect a virus it does not erase the documents.

Cons:

It has worked quite well so far, the only drawback I have observed is that it is a bit heavy, otherwise I have no complaints.

A great Defender for your equipment

Pros:

Very easy to set up. Software is not as heavy as other ones that slow down your PC. Excellent software that will protect your PC against everything.

Cons:

There has not been things that I do not like about this one. Maybe the price can be adjusted a little bit.

Comments: Everyone needs to protect the data on their personal and work computers and devices, plus personal and work phones. This is one of many to choose from but probably one of the most well-known. And that's for a reason! I feel protected when this is the software I'm using and know that this software will alert me to anything dangerous or even potentially dangerous so I can decide how to proceed.

I feel protected having had this on my computer and phone at different times. It alerts me if there are any security issues and even lets me know that my wifi is secure.

Excellent protections from viruses and malware

Comments: This is a solid computer security system that won't let you down when a threat is made. I will repurchase from the original store I bought this, as it was less expensive than the advertisements I receive directly from McAfee.

Pros:

I purchased this software a year ago at the recommendation of a sales agent. It was affordable and effective. I have not had any issues with security and it did a great job of alerting me to any potential threats.

Comments: I have been using McAfee products since I knew what a computer was. It has been around for a while and like wine, is better with time. Thanks McAfee!!

Pros:

What I like most about this software is that it actually gets the job done. I never question if my computer and apps are protected. Its is almost like the "Protection Bible" for computers. (LOL)

Overall, I do not have any complaints, not even when it comes to the price because in my opinion, you get what you paid for. When your license is up, it's easy to renew and there are many reminders to keep everything in line.

Comments: Overall, I think it is a good antivirus software if your computer can handle it. I recommend it for those who are curious about protection & 100% security, on the cost of slowness.

It has a good security and protection, as well as it provide you with a firewall all the time. You can start using it for free initially to discover its features.

Cons:

It makes the computer slow, and it takes long time to scan the computer. It blocks some websites or softwares to protect you, but you can't stop it. You need continuous updates, which is annoying to me.

The thing that I like the most about this service is that it is simple to use and has been very reliable. I use this on my work computer and have not had any problems with viruses in 4 years.

Cons:

They do tend to like to up-sell a lot. Which is understandable, but I do think that it is overboard that it shows an error message like something is wrong, but really they just want me to purchase something.

McAfee is the best for all Security on the web

As we do e-commerce in this day and age for everything, we had to go with McAfee as it's always secure and always alerting us if anything the Potential Threat. Before we had it we were falling victim to many viruses and having to clean and scrub our system on a monthly basis.

I can be a little bit more costly than other options but it's definitely been proven out to be the best.

There is a lot of cons but to give one example, one time we had a client that had a lot of trouble with his computer, we scaned the computer with mcafee but it didnt found anything (not even with the active protection), so we scanned with a free software (Malwairebytes) and found a ton of malwair and stuff...

Good to keep my computer protected

Comments: My overall experience while using the app is good, because it seems really protect my computer from the external threats, which makes me feel satisfied. The only thing that could be better was if the software was not heavy, which makes the computer slow.

Pros:

This software has many options to keep the computer safer. It can protect against many types of virus, ransomware and hackers. One option that I think is very interesting is the password management, because we don't need to type our passwords anymore, it's everything automatic. In addition the app is really easy to use.

Cons:

When I open the app, my computer gets more slow, which is not good. Another thing that I don't like is the messages boxes that the software opens on the screen suddenly while I'm using the computer.
