Cons:

You have to know the owner or number name to search, which means you have to know all of your customers or refer to other office websites or spreadsheets, which can be time consuming and frustrating.

Great for basic CRM

Comments: The Marketing Team is all on the same page as we can see who visited whom and when and be up to date on the status of the account.

Pros:

The ability to log calls from the road is critical. The ap is functional but a little slow. It did make my life eaiser.

Cons:

It would be much more valuable if we could be an integration with our ops software. If I had sales data connected to my marketing work it would be awsome!

Game Changer

Comments: Tracking the prospect journey is essential in franchise sales today. This product makes it very easy.

Pros:

For franchise sales this product has been a game changer. It tracks communication with a prospect. I cannot imagine doing my job without it.

Cons:

There are only a few things that could be improved. An auto spell check function in email would be great.

Helpful, Modular Software for Managing a Franchise Business

Comments: Overall, the staff and support at Franconnect have been good to great. We have seen significant improvements in their platform over the last 8 years and they seem to be committed to constant improvement.

Pros:

Franconnect Sky offers various modules [a la carte] that you can use at different stages of your franchise system. Being able to pick and choose is both affordable and efficient. The online platform is also constantly being updated based on customer feedback as part of their subscription.

Cons:

The software is not very intuitive as yet. It doesn't really have a modern interface.The preview features for the libraries aren't great and it's not completely robust. However, it may have the options needed for the majority of systems though.

Makes communication over multiple locations easier

Comments: Managing support requests, FAQ's, submitting reporting, communicating news, and housing standard documents in a simple way is something that we take for granted now since we've been using FranConnect.

Pros:

I appreciate the ease of use and the way it streamlines our system

Cons:

Implementing new modules can take some time, but that's on us - its not a limitation of the program.

We love it!

Comments: Service is great. Team is very attentive and strives to answer our questions quickly. A+service.

Pros:

It's easy to use. We were able to customize to match our training and staffing specific language.

Cons:

Some of the most recent updates are difficult to get used too. I'm not a fan of the latest update with moved the navigation bar.

User Friendly

Pros:

FranConnect is organized well and user friendly. I love the Franbuzz feature which allows Franchisees to publicly post pictures, comments and announcements to the network. I also love the ticketing system for Franchisees who have issues. It allows the corporate team to sort the issues by categories and helps with managing response time.

Cons:

Sometimes the links within FranConnect glitch or have a page error sign and makes you sign back into your account.

Pros:

Cons:

There are some functions that I would like to see have more customizable options and forms that I wish could be adjusted. (ex. State in 2 letter abbreviation instead of written out)

Innovative, Cutting Edge, and Customer Friendly

Comments: I like the overall layout and features! there is so much that FranConnect allows users to do, that even after 3 years of using the software, I am still learning about different capabilities and finding new ideas to put into place for our sales pipeline processes! Ultimately, FranConnect has been a very valuable tool and asset for our company - from the franchise sales development process to the operational aspects in managing communications with our leads and franchise community.

Pros:

I love the way that I am able to manage our lead pipeline process and the various email communications that we are able to use to keep our leads engaged in the franchise process. we have received many compliments on this aspect as well. They get extra points for upgrades that consistently strive to create a better platform for their customers and the high quality of their customer service and responsiveness is refreshing, exceptional, and quite rare for a tech company of any size. I also really enjoy their resources to help customers learn about new and improved software capabilities, from engaging webinars that are informative about industry standards and uses of software to achieve sales and operational goals, to their just-right amount of communications with their customers whenever there are any issues or just to inform customers of updates, overhauls, etc..

Cons:

As the software becomes more robust and updates/upgrades occur, there is an initial period of sluggishness and glitches in the system for a few days, however, these issues tend to go away after a few days though, so it's not too big of a deal in the long run. I also understand that this is not isolated to this software alone and is common with other systems of this size... Windows, anyone? Additionally, plug-ins that I loved using such as the email uploader and calendar sync have (understandably) been transferred from download-direct capability to download from Microsoft Store platform (which our company's draconian firewall settings won't allow us to download from anymore)...again, not FranConnect's fault, but continuing the legacy option woulda been nice ;) Would really like to see scheduling ability built into future iterations of the platform for lead generated, direct scheduling with sales team.

Franchise Management Software

Comments: Overall, it's okay, but pricey for what you get. It's worth shopping around and comparing the alternatives.

Pros:

A variety of modules are available to add, depending on your needs. For example, franchise development, financials, information manager, store opener, etc. It's solid software, but not cutting edge, which is not necessarily bad in a franchise.

Cons:

It can be expensive, depending on the modules needed. We've found some software that we liked better for certain functionality, like group forums. For that, we moved it off this platform and on to Workplace by Facebook.

Comments: I have been working with FranConnect for approx the past 2.5 years. I think some small tweaks in regard to system duplication (of data) and the modules "speaking" to each other could be easier.
generally, we receive great software support but I would like to see a little more in regards to looking to them as the expects on their software and how we can use it at orangetheory to improve network functionality and improve internal business processes.

Pros:

It is very Admin friendly - i can make majority of internal changes for the HQ office on a daily basis

Cons:

System updates and enhancements do not always transition smoothly with customizations

Pros:

The reporting capability is extensive. My team reviews the reports each week to determine the health of the sales pipeline. We are able to pinpoint where we need to focus for sales opportunities which is needed to drive the results we have set in place.

Cons:

Sometimes it's difficult to get a person on the phone to help with an issue. However, their team is available via email through their helpdesk.

FranConnect is solid

Pros:

The system allows me to track whats important to me and running our monthly numbers gets done in a snap.

Cons:

The invoice function will occasional drop a newly submitted data that requires you to re-enter everything. It can also be a little difficult to navigate when you are looking to explore new options.

FranConnect is not a good software

Comments: Bad, the customer service is not great. Its really bad and none responsive most of the time.

Pros:

Really the only pro to this software is that if you work in Franchise you need to use some sort of CRM management to keep track of leads and current franchisees. Thats it.

Cons:

Everything. This software has never once worked well. Constantly timing out, buggy, and laggy to boot. Its NOT use friendly and needs a serious overhaul of how its managed.

Pros:

This is a good entry level intranet platform for a franchisor. It has multiple sections that take a lead from a sales prospect to a franchise owner. Also sections for marketing and finance.

Cons:

This is a difficult platform to master so you will need to have a technically oriented owner for this site. It is also seems to be focused on franchises that have a retail footprint that services customers onsite. Franconnect is not very flexible as far as modifying the site to meet specific needs or design. its more on an out of the box solution.

Highly impressed with the transition to Sky

Comments: When we transitioned from FranConnect to FranConnect Sky, our rep was there for us every step of the way. We trained for nearly a week, and she continued to support us long after our in person training!

Pros:

It is easy to use. The program flows naturally. Easy to learn. Everything we need all in one place!

Cons:

Would like the ability to make more changes on our own, verus having it done through customer support.

Great software tool for franchisors

Comments: We now have better insights, reporting, pipeline, data tracking and robust marketing tools at our fingerprints.

Pros:

What I like the most about FranConnect is the visibility into our sales pipeline. As a sales manager, having this insight and reporting capability is of top priority to our organization.

Cons:

We integrated from an antiquated system and due to this fact, we did not have a smooth transition during implementation. The FC team handled us to the best of their ability.

Great concept, but needs improvements

Comments: Overall, the customer experience has been good. They are very responsive with your questions/concerns. Oftentimes they are not able to help with your concerns though, as it is usually called a "system update" and they claim to send to their development team for future updates. Responsiveness- 110%
Ability to achieve your outcome -50%

Pros:

It does cover quite a bit of the needs for franchise business support. It allows you to manage all of your contacts within one platform. The Hub and Info Manager are the best modules. Great for data sharing and data maintenance.

Cons:

The Sales and support modules need improvements. The sales campaign manager is pretty weak, and very poor quality compared to other paid email subscription services. There is very little customization or design that can be done within the platform. The support module appears to be new to Franconnect. It needs updates, it is currently FAR too basic. Needs much higher level capabilities in order to be able to work in it properly.

FranConnect is a great tool for franchisees to connect

Comments: My franchisor upgraded from another product (I don't recall its name) about 5 years ago and moved to FranConnect.

Pros:

FranConnect creates an Intranet for franchisees to use to share messages, postings, etc. to each other. You can store files and other important docs there, as well.

Cons:

Nothing bad to say.. FranConnect works well to help franchisees communicate with each other.

The Best!

Comments: Over-all my experience with FranConnect is stellar!

Pros:

Pros are that FranConnect keeps everything about every lead in one place so I'm not hunting all over the place to find this or that. It saves time, frustration, and my nerves, I dare say it adds years to my life. I can call, email, message, and text the leads. I get email reminders in my Google inbox so I don't forget when I'm supposed to call leads. When I need help, the FranConnect Help Desk team are there for me every.single.time. without.fail! They are so, so, so good at what they do and I can see the 'smile' on their faces even though we're on the phone. Two of the reps helped me most recently and their help made my day SO MUCH BETTER! These two deserve some recognition and a raise in my opinion! :)

Cons:

It's slow sometimes but for all the good it does, I can deal with this.
