An easy way to manage your hotel

Comments: It has been a Great software, I’ve been using this for over a year now and I can say that it has helped me a lot mainly because some of the features that the software includes I wasn’t able to do it before such as spa and other entertainment activities management, I will definitely recommend for those people who want to improve their services and their company.

Pros:

I like that is a software that is easy to use, it helps you to have more control on different areas whether is your company or your hotel, for me many years I’ve been managing on the classic way but with this software things are just getting even more easy to do, I can let this software to do functions that not many people can do because and that’s what I like about the software.

Cons:

It has some features that I didn’t like mainly because these are just features that you can do by yourself and it can also be done if you combine with other Arias, like housekeeping manage, so it will be better to let some of the features out and add a feature that allows me to promote my services so more people know about it.

Comments: It's been spectacular. They do it all very well; functionality, features, & support and when there's room for improvement, they manage that well too.

Pros:

I have full faith that whatever feature is technically possible to make the product more robust and capable, the ResNexus team will do it before anyone else. They seem to set the standard for the others to catchup to.

Cons:

Only that the very valuable "Academy" is in winter in Utah. But I understand why.

Terrible setup process

Comments: The customer service and setup process of this software is terrible. It's as if because you are paying monthly they want it to take as long as possible. To be fair our campground is not a simple campground and does have some complexities. However, their setup process started with trying to train us how to do reservations rather than making any effort to get us set up. There is absolutely ZERO documentation on how to setup the system. After two weeks of training calls where they focused on how to do basic tasks we finally stoppped them and pointed out that we need to set up the system first. This turned into weekly calls where we had to guide them on what we needed and even then things were done wrong. They say they will set it up for you, but everything they did was wrong and we had to go back over it. When we called to complain the response was "it's no big deal you just need to let us do it and we'll have you up next week." Then they gave us attitude about how we hadn't trained our people on using the system in the 2 months we'd been working on setting it up. We can't train people to use a system that isn't set up properly. We finally had them do a test import just to see what would happen and it was obvious that they didn't even look at the results as there were 10,000 lines of errors and every customer that was imported was wrong, the rate on every reservation was wrong. Everything was wrong. That was when we finally gave up. They simply don't care.

Pros:

Best feature we saw on this product was how easy it was to setup site/room blocks that automatically released on certain dates.

Cons:

It's not remotely customizable to your needs. As a campground a key feature should be site length, that's not an option. There's not even anything in the reservation process that asks for the length of a customer's rig (again a key need for any campground to ensure that you are putting people in sites that they fit). They have little to no written documentation on anything. No on-boarding/setup process that is laid out for you. You will be flying blind and will need to have a lot of time to figure things out on your own.

In addition, in 2022 we completely enhanced our online booking engine based on feedback from our campground clients. Site length and vehicle information is handled in an easy-to-use and intuitive way. You can also add many custom fields. In addition, ResNexus is one of the only PMS systems that allow you to connect to OTAs like Airbnb, Booking.com, Hip Camp, Glamping Hub, Book Outdoors, Spot2Nite and more. Unlike some of our competitors, we do not charge per booking and save your business money by using unit based pricing.

Comments: I was anticipating buying a larger business than than I already had. Mine had five rooms and later added on a carriage house to rent. We were looking at possibly buying 21 rooms on a much larger property in a much larger to us scale. I found out what reservation system the current owner was already using and so I decided to implement it at my smaller property so I could get used to it. My training with [sensitive content hidden] was absolutely amazing and her patience and kindness and everyone since her has all been just beautiful. I was really glad when we did get the property seven years ago that I was already trained and ready for the reservation system. All I have seen with it is improvements all along the way have shown encouraging growth. I have actually made strong suggestions that have been heard and have been implemented to at least my system to cause it to be more user friendly and efficient for me. I just recently changed payment processing system companies to RezNexus and I'm a "happy camper". It has been nice to speak with [sensitive content hidden] for evaluation times and to find out that we are up to speed and doing well. Thank you ResNexus for everything from eight years back to present to going forward.

Pros:

Customer Care is the best. Agents are extreme;y helpful as well as polite.

Cons:

Office Hours don't really match the industry served. We are 24/7 with being lodging owners, yet they are closed on weekends. even though there's an available emergency agent on call leaves one feeling a bit unsupported. Maybe rephrasing it to say 24/7 support or and not emergency number....? With all of the increase they've gained in the 7 years I've been a customer, to actually have 24/7 support would be appreciated. Anyway, if it's "on call" for Resnexus, but says 24/7 for us, that could leave a more positive supportive feeling than to say "emergency" number, we will return your call. Just a thought.

Pros:

For quite some time, I sought a solution for my small boutique hotel and eventually opted for ResNexus. Transitioning from my previous connectivity provider was seamless, thanks to the expert and highly competent guidance provided by ResNexus throughout the process. Every member of the ResNexus team, particularly [sensitive content hidden], stood by my side during the entire transition, remaining accessible and consistently ensuring that everything was taken care of wonderfully and reliably. I wholeheartedly recommend ResNexus.

Cons:

Like all systems, there are always a few points that could be improved. However, from my perspective, these minor considerations have no bearing on the high functionality that ResNexus offers in my case.

Comments: Been almost 3+ years and we have loved the progress and the updates that this platform has implemented. Keep up the good work.

Pros:

Allows our business management to be accessed from anywhere, which is the most important feature for a manager, like myself, and the ability to be used on mobile device or simple desktop computers

Cons:

Wish there was a better market/retail module versus the current lightspeed restaurant or the integrated one that is currently available. Try to get lightspeed. Retail option would be awesome.

Comments: We've seen revenue grow with online direct bookings, our website traffic has increased using Resnexus websites, and their features make guest experience better (text messaging, etc.)

Pros:

Easy to use - housekeeping features are awesome - easy to book very straightforward to follow just about everything. Employees who are not tech savvy have quickly learned how to use it for just about everything - the customer service is exceptional, they are a small business and act like one (in all the right ways). They don't come off as some inaccessible corporate monster - but rather, personable and very on top of things - at the same time, they are a top player in the industry and they keep adding new features, improving, and using the system gets better and better each and every day.

Cons:

Can't think of much, to be honest...for us, it does the job, and it does it well!

Comments: They were unable to get credit card processor to work so I was unable to open our business via our website. When error was found, customer support ghosted us by going to a Bed and Breakfast conference and not replying to multiple requests for help.

Pros:

Nice looking grid that shows room status.

Cons:

Inability to provide what they claim to be able to provide.

Comments: Really strong. One of the best vendors I work with and critical to our daily success.

Pros:

My account managers are the best vendor I use. [sensitive content hidden] has been absolutely instrumental in our success. [sensitive content hidden] has been a great addition to the team as well. The seamless integration is great. We also use Remote Lock which is really really helpful. Really enjoying the App thus far.

Cons:

The rollout for the App was pretty slow, could have been faster. The functionality is pretty low. I have presented several pieces of feedback to the team team regarding functionality and it doesn't seem to get incorporated, but thats corporate America for you.

ResNexus - like hiring a whole software and hotel management team

Comments: Hotel reservations have expenses - credit card fees, third-party commissions, occupancy taxes, and, of course, monthly reservation software costs. The valuable expertise that ResNexus provides us has enable us to have ten times the revenue we would have without them - way more than enough to cover the expenses. That is to say, in the end we do not consider ResNexus an expense, it helps us earn way more money than it costs. We consider them our partners and could not be happier with their services.

Pros:

ResNexus is one of the most professional companies I have delt with in any field. Running a hotel reservation system is very complicated. The system must integrate hundreds of different third-party booking sites, credit card processing companies, tax collection, and the front desk. ResNexus has this figured out and I can't imagine running the hotel without them. Our dedicated representative is very responsive, helpful, and encouraging.

Cons:

We literally have no complaints about ResNexus. We get contacted frequently by other companies and we tell them all the same: we are very happy with ResNexus.

Comments: We purchase our in with ResNexus in place. we could have switched to another site and chose to stay for the great customer service and ease of use.

Pros:

I love the ease of use in booking a reservation for a guest! I also love the text alerts, as we have, on occasion, had guests book shortly before a stay (literally from our driveway!). The alert allowed us to be sure we were home when they arrived.

Cons:

We've not yet come across any dislikes.

Our best decision

Comments: We did a lot of research prior to our decision and have been satisfied.
Support is the most important for us and we have been pleased. This past 2 years the support and relationship service has been stellar! We have never experienced the level of attention and follow up that we receive now. Huge appreciation for [sensitive content hidden]!

Pros:

Ease of connecting with support staff to help when learning and making changes. So easy to learn front office uses.

Cons:

Navigating some of the set up stuff on my own, which wasn’t a huge issue because there was always someone available to help.

Responsive support and clearly understandable instructions on using features.

Cons:

When a previous guest books a new reservation and is recognized by ResNexus as a return guest, the data in that guest's previous reservation is changed to match what the guest inputs into the new reservation--thus eliminating the guest's past history.

Comments: I really like Resnexus and wont be looking elsewhere for a very long time.

Pros:

We have been using Reservation Nexus (Resnexus) for many years. They have been keeping up with the times and making changes to fit the market on a consistent basis. The web designer is easy to use and brings our website to the forefront of the competition. The have the best team for support. They work right with you to solve and issues and fix things asap.

Cons:

The only thing I have been complaining all along about is the fact that new reservations do not 'pop up' for us to know there is a new reservation. This would be super helpful especially for last minute bookings. It is not feasible to keep checking emails or going into Resnexus Search to look to see if there is a last minute booking. Having a 'pop-up' letting you know this was a feature I had on another platform that I loved about it.

Pros:

ResNexus has significantly simplified my business's booking and reservation management process. Its intuitive interface allows for easy navigation and setup. The comprehensive reservation management system handles bookings, check-ins, and check-outs seamlessly, while automating guest communication. Integration with third-party platforms saves time and reduces errors.

Cons:

Although they have rolled out a mobile application for the system it is in the beta stages. the absence of a dedicated mobile app limits the convenience and flexibility of accessing ResNexus on the go. While the platform does offer mobile access, the streamlined app would enhance the user experience and make it even more convenient for users who frequently need to manage reservations and bookings while away from their computers.

Superior Customer Service for Reservation Platform

Comments: We've used ResNexus almost as long as they've been in business. Our business has been operating since 1985, going from hand written reservations to ResNexus. They are wonderful to work with and always ask for feedback to enhance the product.

Pros:

ResNexus has similar features to other reservation platforms. However, they are by far the best for customer service and support. The product is easy to use, customizable and affordable.

Cons:

Back office does not have an easy to use/navigate hand-held option.

Fantastic all around reservation system

Comments: Great experience. I will continue to use this system as I find it easy to use for the most part and my customers find it user friendly

Pros:

Booking grid, reporting and user friendly.

Cons:

The promotion pkg input gets confusing on how to make them show up in the enhance your stay option. I always forget where I need to go to create the codes and then add them. They also show up even after I want them to expire.
